## Issue
Rear wheel spacer bolts that were torqued improperly during manufacturing can cause the wheel to fall off during use. This can result in the tractor overturning, posing an injury hazard to the operator.
John Deere has received one report of a wheel falling off. No injuries had been reported as of the recall date (August 2021).
## What to do
1. Locate the serial number on the right side of the frame, near the front right tire.
2. Check whether your serial number is in the affected range using the JD recall page above (`WheelSpacerBoltRecall`).
3. If it is, **stop using the tractor immediately** and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free inspection and repair of the wheel mounting bolts.
4. The remedy is a torque inspection of the rear wheel spacer bolts by the dealer; bolts found out of spec are corrected.
