CPSC recall (February 13, 2020): four model-year 2020 Drive2 variants (QuieTech, AC, EFI, DC) have front wheel hubs that can crack, causing the front wheels to detach and posing a crash hazard. Approximately 1,350 units. Remedy is free dealer repair.

CPSC recall (February 13, 2020). Approximately 1,350 units.
HAZARD: The front wheel hubs on the golf cars can crack, causing the front wheels to detach, posing a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or bystander.
AFFECTED: Four model-year 2020 Yamaha golf cars: Drive2 QuieTech, Drive2 AC, Drive2 EFI, and Drive2 DC. The model and serial number are on a label under the seat on the left side.
REMEDY: Immediately stop using the recalled vehicle and contact a Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule a free repair.
