CPSC recall (February 17, 2022). Approximately 5,000 units. Distributor: Yamaha Golf-Car Company, Kennesaw, Georgia.
HAZARD: The recalled vehicles can have brake failure, posing a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or bystander.
AFFECTED: Model year 2021-2022 Yamaha Golf Car and Personal Transportation (PTV) vehicles. The model name is printed on the left and right side of the vehicle; the serial number is on the frame under the operator seat.
REMEDY: Immediately stop using the recalled vehicle and contact a Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule a free repair. Yamaha is contacting registered owners directly.
